Each group represented a different Native American region and was challenged to follow a recipe using the resources available to their region. Along the way, students quickly discovered that they needed to rely on other regions to gather everything necessary to complete their recipe.
This hands-on activity brought the concept of economic interdependence to life and showed students how different regions depend on one another for resources. What a fun way to turn classroom learning into a meaningful experience!
